Create the life you want with comfort and clarity. Why wait another day?

“Smile Psychology focuses on helping individuals find their true selves with the support of a psychologist that is invested in their wellbeing. ”

Hi, My name is Jaspreet Deol, MA and I am a registered psychologist here in Edmonton. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mount Royal University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Bond University, and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

My experience comes from working directly with those in difficult situations. I have worked with individuals, families, couples, and children through Children’s Autism Services of Edmonton, Primary Care Network, Calgary Counselling Centre, Enviros Wilderness School, Hull Services, Society for Treatment of Autism, and Cerebral Palsy League. I am passionate about helping you find reasons to truly smile and answer that big question ‘what is the purpose of life’. You will be surprised at how easily you are willing to share that softer more vulnerable side of yourself in session.

I offer a person-centered approach and tailor treatment to your unique needs. My primary framework for therapy consists of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Grief counseling. My mission is to create a unique and valuable experience for each client so that you get what you need from your sessions. I strive to be transparent and educate you on what modalities are used and how they apply to your situation. I bring a vast amount of experience and positive intent to my practice which you are welcome to experience firsthand.

The education received to become a psychologist is of great value. I bring added value through work experience and utilizing the education to improve my own life.

Let’s connect and get started so you can start smiling sooner.
